Enter the world of Information Technology with Gateway’s IT-Service Desk Technician apprenticeship. You’ll learn how to field and respond to technical support requests, troubleshooting issues and effectively communicating to help resolve issues. 

Upon completion, you’ll have the skills to diagnose and fix hardware and software problems, develop effective troubleshooting strategies and prepare end-user training along with an in-depth understanding of general Service Desk operations.

  • Train for just two years with combined work on-the-job and in the classroom, totaling 2,144 hours.

Qualifications

You must be in good physical health and possess finger dexterity. You must also have a good understanding of technical concepts, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with end users.
