Education is the pathway to personal and career success. The Gateway Promise enables access, success and completion of a college degree.
With financial support through the Gateway Technical College Foundation, the Gateway Promise ensures Kenosha County, Racine County and Walworth County high school graduates who meet program eligibility requirements can attend Gateway tuition-free. The first eligible class was the high school graduating class of 2017, and the program is available each year beginning in summer. The Gateway Promise helps tri-county area high school students realize their dream of attending college and begin their path to career and personal success.
The Gateway Promise is supported by generous community support through the Foundation’s Gateway Promise endowment fund. SC Johnson, H. Fisk Johnson and the Kopper Family are key supporters of the Gateway Promise.
The Gateway Promise 2 Finish program (for adults 23 years or older) is made possible through financial gifts and support by the Gene Haas Foundation, Haribo, and the Kopper Family.
