Qualifications
You must be physically able to do the job with reasonable accommodations and be able to get to and from the job and Gateway Technical College. Age does not matter, but most apprentices are in high school or recent high school graduates.
Get started as a Mechatronics Technician Apprentice
You should apply directly to employers, and entry requirements vary by employer.
If you need assistance finding an employer who will take you on as an apprentice, please contact the local WI DWD-BAS Apprenticeship Training Representative at 414-216-8417 to find an employer approved to train apprentices.
Once your contract is in place, Gateway’s Apprenticeship department will communicate with you regarding registration, classes and books.
