Gateway Red Hawks Esports teams offer interested students a competitive and friendly gaming environment. Athletes compete and practice in the state-of-the-art Red Hawk Esports Arena on Gateway’s Racine Campus.
Gateway offers students two esports opportunities
Red Hawks Esports Varsity, Junior Varsity, Alumni and Women’s Teams: Gateway student-athletes compete against other collegiate teams in various esports as members of the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Positions on the esports roster are competitively open to all interested Gateway students.
Tryouts are typically held the first two weeks of each semester. 2024 tryouts will be held July 22 to August 5.
Red Hawks Esports Club: The club has been built for Gateway students who want a competitive yet friendly gaming environment. The club has teams in 911 Operator (PC), Conflict of Nations WW3 (PC/Mobile), Drone Racing League (PC), Fall Guys (PC/PS5), FIFA 23 (PC), Fortnite (PC/PS5), Fortnite Festival (PC/PS5), Hearthstone (PC), iRacing (PC), League of Legends (PC), Lego Fortnite (PC/PS5), Minecraft (PC), MultiVersus (PC/PS5), NBA 2K24 (PS5), Omega Strikers (PC), Overwatch 2 (PC), PC Building Simulator 2 (PC), RetroArch (PC), Roblox (PC/PS5), Rocket League (PC), Rocket Racing (PC/PS5), Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Nintendo Switch), The Finals (PC/PS5), The Sims 4 (PC/PS5) and Valorant (PC).
