Gateway's IT student club, dig.IT, is holding this popular clinic over two days:

  • Customers can drop off their devices on Friday, February 21, from 12-8 p.m. at the Racine Building, Room 102 (northeast entrance to the building located near the skate park).
  • Computers can be picked up Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.  Customers will receive a text or call when their device is ready.

Computers will be worked on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. Those who bring in laptop computers or tablets are asked to also bring in a power supply cord.

Students can assist with the following:

  • Update PC operating systems
  • Check for viruses and malware
  • Diagnose internet access issues
  • Optimize computer function
  • Perform Windows upgrades if computer hardware is compatible

The clinic is a fundraiser for the student club. Participants are encouraged to donate $20 for each computer worked on. Money raised helps to pay for students to compete in statewide and national information technology events.

Open to the public.
