Gateway Technical College will host an herb gardening and use workshop starting at 4:30 p.m. May 28 at the college’s Center for Sustainable Living on its Kenosha Campus, 3520-30th Ave.
Attendees will learn the basics of herb gardening including how to grow herbs from seeds, use greenhouse plug containers and divide plants. The workshop will be presented by Melody Orban, Master Gardener, who will also discuss spring herbs that can be harvested now, like chives and mint.
The workshop is free and open to the public.
