This is the ADA Compliance and Accessibility Statement for the Gateway Technical College website. We want everyone who visits the Gateway Technical College website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

Guidelines

To help us make Gateway’s website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for Gateway’s website.

Design and Layout

  • This site uses cascading style sheets (CSS) to control all aspects of layout and presentation.
  • Most fonts on this site are sized using relative font sizes and will adjust automatically to your browser’s default text size.
  • Content contained within this site will degrade to a usable text-only design when CSS is not available.
