Green comes to Gateway in the middle of the bitter and cold winter through its 24th Annual WinterGreen conference, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 29, held in the Madrigrano Auditorium, located in the Conference Center of Gateway’s Kenosha Campus, 3520-30th Ave.
Ed Lyon, director of Iowa State University’s Reiman Gardens, will offer tips, techniques and outline the types of plants best suited to Wisconsin and other states of this region in “Growing the Midwest Garden,” one of several horticulture experts to speak at the conference.
The conference is open to horticulture industry professionals as well as the general public.
