Parents, students can gain information at event or live Web broadcast
Gateway Technical College 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Feb. 11 will announce its Gateway Promise program, designed to help ensure all students seeking an education in the college’s district will be able to do so.
Specifics of the scholarship program will be revealed at the event to be held in the SC Johnson Student Life Center in the Lake Building on the college’s Racine Campus, 1001 Main St., and at an accompanying live Web broadcast. This method will allow students, their parents, educators and supporters the ability to gain information on the scholarship in-person or on the Internet through any Web-enabled device.
Basics of the event:
- What: Gateway Promise introduction and celebration, outlining a promise to our community that every qualifying high school student can attend Gateway tuition-free.
- Where: SC Johnson Student Life Center in the Lake Building of Gateway’s Racine Campus, 1001 S. Main St.
- When: Feb. 11
- Continental breakfast: 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Information will also be available outlining the services available to help ensure Promise students’ success in the program.
