The official colors and fonts selected to represent Gateway Technical College are an essential part of our college branding. Consistently using the correct colors and typography ensures Gateway is easily recognized in the community and by prospective students. To maintain consistency and brand, it’s important to use the colors and fonts outlined here in any official outward-facing Gateway-related materials, including promotional items, recruitment materials and advertisements.

Primary Colors

The following colors are Gateway’s primary colors and are always used in Gateway’s logo. The logo may be two-tone red, all-black or all-white. No other colors are allowed to be used in Gateway’s logo. These colors should also be used most frequently to promote Gateway through printed materials, on our website and on promotional/branded items. 

In certain circumstances, Gateway’s logo may be published in all-black, all-white or silver. Do not use black or white as accent colors in the logo (e.g. do not change “Gateway Technical College to black or white and leave the rest of the logo in burgundy and red). The logo must either be all black/white or in the official colors (PMS 201 and PMS 1795). 

Please note: PMS 206 (pink) and PMS 209 (maroon) are Gateway’s old official colors and should no longer be used.

Accent and Neutral Colors

These accent colors were selected to complement Gateway’s official colors. The primary colors should be balanced with accent colors and neutrals for official advertising and recruitment materials.
