Gateway Technical College again has received a Military Friendly School designation by Viqtory Media, the premier publisher of magazines for military personnel transitioning into civilian life.
Gateway was one of 243 schools to receive the Gold designation for its leading practices, outcomes and effective programs. The college has received a Military Friendly Schools honor every year for more than a decade.
More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2024-25 survey with 537 earning a Gold, Silver or Bronze designation.
Institutions earning the Military Friendly School designation were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined with input from the Military Friendly Schools Advisory Council, which includes independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community.
