Signup has begun for Gateway Technical College’s lifelong learning program, a series of hands-on personal enrichment classes that range from hobbies to do-it-yourself enthusiasts.
All classes are taught by Gateway’s expert instructors who bring years of real-world experience to the classroom.
The college has made it a goal to bring these programs back after being unavailable for several years.
“We are excited to be able to offer our first round of lifelong learning classes,” said Gateway Technical College President and CEO Ritu Raju. “This represents another way our college can reach out and benefit our communities, by providing access to our expert instructors through some fun classes.
“We feel these courses will be a success and encourage the public to check them out.”

This first round of offerings begins in early March and features 10 courses ranging from bread baking and basic household repairs to self-defense. Courses cost $20 or $45.
