Gateway Technical College will hold a community open house 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. March 6 on its Elkhorn Campus, 400 County Road H, to highlight – among other areas – upgrades to its health and heating, ventilation and cooling programs there.

Spurred by community needs in those two areas, the college has worked hard to bring new programming and lab space to the campus. In particular, these include health care programs that can be accessed in Elkhorn which include Nursing, Practical Nursing, Medical Assistant and Nursing Assistant.

Gateway staff will be on hand to provide tours of the campus which houses many different programs and is the site of the Reader Precision Manufacturing Center.

A short program will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the North Building Atrium, which is also where tours for the open house will begin.
