Gateway Technical College’s Launch Box Business Resource Center will host a small business success summit focused on providing business leaders with the skills to build, manage and grow their business, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 16 at the college’s SC Johnson integrated Manufacturing and Engineering Technology Center, 2320 Renaissance Blvd.
In addition to breakout sessions, the event will feature keynote speaker Ulice Payne, president of Addison-Clifton LLC, as well as a networking lunch with local entrepreneur Doug Nicholson, owner of the Ivanhoe Pub & Eatery, Carriage House Liquor and envi ultra lounge. Cost is $45 for general admission and $25 for Gateway students. Registration is at training.gtc.edu.

- Building a better sales pipeline
- Managing your banking relationship
- Growing beyond small: Key activities to move your business from first to second stage
- Top five legal challenges for small business
In addition, exclusively for those associated with attendees, the Fab Lab will be open during the conference for children 10 years and older. Activities in the Fab Lab will include 2D and 3D design, using a laser engraver and 3D printer.
