AT&T Donation Will Support Boot Camp for Spring 2016 Semester
KENOSHA, Tuesday, November 16, 2015 – AT&T will announce an AT&T Innovation & Investment Award to support the Telecom Cable Installer Boot Camp at Gateway Technical College for the spring semester during a check presentation on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. The AT&T donation will be presented during a meeting of the Gateway Technical College District Board at the Horizon Center in Kenosha.
The Telecom Cable Installer Boot Camp is a hands-on boot camp that covers the basic concepts of telecommunications equipment and cabling installation, as well as other skills needed in the telecommunications field. The 12-week program offered by Gateway will run from January 25, 2016 to April 15, 2016.
The AT&T Wisconsin Innovation & Investment Award program provides funding to local organizations that enhance and give back to their communities.
